Three days of conversations, new ideas and a clearer view of what beauty brands need next
From 1–3 October 2026, Lamipak participated in Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City.
The 19th edition of Cosmobeauté Indonesia brought together the wider beauty ecosystem across cosmetics, manufacturing, formulation, packaging, machinery and other supporting industries. The 2026 exhibition expanded across Halls 5–9 at ICE BSD.
For Lamipak, however, the exhibition was not simply about displaying tubes.
It was an opportunity to listen to beauty brands, understand the challenges they are trying to solve and share how better packaging decisions can support the journey from product idea to commercial growth.
Starting From What We Know Best: Tube Packaging
Lamipak's foundation is in tube packaging manufacturing.
At Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026, we presented solutions across:
- ABL tubes
- PBL tubes
- PE / CoEx tubes
- Different tube diameters and formats
- Closure and dispensing options
- Printing and decorative possibilities
Different products require different packaging decisions.
An oral-care product may prioritize barrier performance and production efficiency. A skincare brand may place greater emphasis on appearance, dispensing experience or premium decoration.
That is why choosing packaging should not begin simply with:
“Which tube looks attractive?”
It should begin with:
“What does this product need from its packaging?”
That principle shaped many of our conversations during the exhibition.
What Our Conversations Reinforced
Meeting brands, developers and other industry participants reinforced several themes we continue to see in the market.
Beauty brands are looking for greater packaging flexibility, stronger visual differentiation, manageable starting quantities and clearer coordination during product development.
They are also asking increasingly connected questions.
Which tube structure is suitable for the formula?
What diameter works with the filling volume?
Which closure creates the right dispensing experience?
How can the packaging look more premium?
How much should be ordered for the initial launch?
And if the product succeeds, can the packaging and supply model support larger volumes or additional markets?
These questions may begin with packaging, but they rarely remain isolated packaging decisions.
Formula → Packaging → Artwork → Production quantity → Manufacturing → Market
Each decision can influence the next.
Packaging Works Better When It Is Considered Earlier
Packaging is sometimes treated as the final step after the product has already been developed.
In practice, involving packaging considerations earlier can help identify potential limitations before they become expensive revisions.
Tube structure, diameter, closure, dispensing, decoration and formula compatibility all need to work together.
For beauty brands, connecting these decisions earlier can create:
- Fewer unnecessary revisions
- Clearer technical expectations
- More realistic development timelines
- Better coordination between the parties involved
- A smoother path toward commercial production
This is closely connected to what Lamipak means by Trusted Execution.
Not simply promising that everything is possible, but understanding requirements, identifying potential constraints early and helping create a realistic path forward.
Building Beyond Tube Packaging Responsibly
Cosmobeauté also gave us the opportunity to share where Lamipak is heading next.
Our established foundation remains tube packaging manufacturing.
At the same time, Lamipak is progressively developing broader OEM, ODM and private-label capabilities to connect product, packaging and manufacturing decisions more closely.
The direction is:
Product concept → Development → Packaging → Manufacturing → Market
But becoming a more integrated beauty partner is not simply about adding more services.
It requires the processes, technical knowledge, quality systems and execution capability behind those services to develop as well.
For Lamipak, the objective is therefore to build on what we already do well and extend those capabilities responsibly.
This evolution supports our longer-term ambition to become:
ASEAN's Trusted Turnkey Beauty Partner.
Built in Indonesia, Growing Across ASEAN
Cosmobeauté Indonesia reflects the continued development of Indonesia's beauty ecosystem and its connection with the wider regional market. The official 2026 exhibition brought together more than 600 exhibiting companies and 1,550 beauty brands across a 25,000-square-metre exhibition area. Cosmobeauté
For Lamipak, the ASEAN perspective is increasingly relevant.
A brand may start with one product in one country, but successful products can eventually require:
More volume → More SKUs → More markets → More supply coordination
Packaging decisions made during the early stages can influence how easily that growth is managed later.
This is why Lamipak's direction goes beyond simply producing a tube.
We want to help create a stronger connection between today's packaging requirement and tomorrow's commercial opportunity.
Thank You for Visiting Lamipak
To everyone who visited the Lamipak booth, shared a product idea, discussed a packaging challenge or simply stopped by to learn more about us:
Thank you.
The most valuable part of Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 was not only what we displayed.
It was what we learned from the conversations around it.
Those discussions reinforced where Lamipak already has strong expertise, where customers need better support and where we need to continue building our capabilities.
Cosmobeauté may have lasted three days, but the work continues afterward.
Lamipak will continue building from its tube-packaging foundation toward a more connected beauty-industry partnership model:
Built in Indonesia. Growing across ASEAN. Driven by trusted execution.
